Report content or a user
Inside the app, long-press any post or profile and tap Report. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours; we remove content that violates our community guidelines and can restrict or remove accounts that repeatedly do so.
You can also email support@resonance.app with a link or screenshot — include what you saw and why it felt off.
Block or mute someone
Open their profile and tap the menu in the top right. Choose Block to hide their content from you entirely, or Mute to keep them followed but out of your feed.
Delete your account
Open the app → Profile → Settings → Delete account. This removes your memories, follows, and account record within 30 days. If you need help deleting from outside the app, email support@resonance.app from the address tied to your account.
Linking Spotify or Apple Music
Spotify linking happens through the official Spotify OAuth flow. If the link fails, check that you're not signed into the wrong Spotify account in your phone's default browser, then try again. Apple Music support is in progress.
Common fixes
- Widget is blank. Make sure you're signed in, have listened to something recently, and have the app in the foreground once after install so the widget can fetch data.
- Push notifications not arriving. Settings → Notifications → Resonance → make sure Allow Notifications is on. Then in the app: Profile → Settings → Notifications → enable the categories you want.
- Can't sign in with Apple. Settings → your name → Password & Security → Sign in with Apple — confirm Resonance is listed. If it was revoked, sign in again and it'll reappear.
Community guidelines
Resonance is for sincere memories tied to music. No harassment, no hate speech, no sexually explicit content, no doxxing, no spam, no content targeting minors. Violations are removed and repeat offenders are banned.
